MD Top 25

Little has changed at the top but some movement from 10 to 25. Three new entries highlight this week's entry.

Memphis
North Carolina
Texas
Duke
Kansas
Washington State
Tennessee
UCLA
Texas A & M
Georgetown - Much better. They played like a Top 5 team the last game.
Indiana - Smacked around a traditional powerhouse without their starting backcourt.
Gonzaga - A slight dip due to a close loss to Wazzu. Again, they could be scary once Heytvelt returns.
Butler - Wright State plays them pretty tough. Don't expect them to shoot 30 percent again.
Marquette - I think Wisconsin is overrated every single year.
Michigan State - Wish I could've seen the hard-fought battle w/BYU.
Pittsburgh - A slight win over Duquesne? Puhleeze....
Oregon
Clemson
Xavier - Last week's idiocy of them dominating the A-10 is hereby apologized for - must be the consumption of Woodford Reserve.
Villanova
St. Mary's
Brigham Young - See Michigan State
Vanderbilt - Freshman to watch - Andrew Ogilvy
West Virginia - Have to keep the Big East quota with Seton Hall and Louisville dropping out
Miami (Fla.) - The Gestalt team where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Nobody really stands out though Anthony King is almost averaging a double-double.

BTW, the state of Kentucky could be in for a long year. The 'Cats were dominated by IU and Louisville lost an ugly one to Dayton where they pretty much trailed throughout (though Dayton could be here next week hence the amendment to the A-10 prediction). And as I predicted Caracter showed none and got suspended again.

Until next time.....
