Ditka was wrong with how finished up in the top 4...

It was actually '89 Niners, then '78 Steelers, then '85 Bears, then '72 Dolphins.

I only have 3 teams post salary cap era...to me its tough to put recent teams in as the best of the top 20 based on the salary cap. 94' Niners were very dominant, and I will give you that the '96 Packers were great, and the '99 Rams probably the most dominant team in the last 10 years. Other than that I cannot put the '04 Pats in there nor can I put a post salary cap team in the top 10!!!

To add to that note...I think the salary cap came in in '93????

Hence if your asking why the '92 Cowboys...I don't believe they were a salary cap team. It did make me sick that I put them ahead of the Giants but I saw the "America's Game" episode with them and they were f-ing good...have you guys been watching that or do you not get NFL network...if you don't you need to cancel your stupid pussy ass shit cable and get Direct TV for a change, as big a sports fans that you are it shocks me that you have not put up a dish...Davols you may have an excuse because you live in an apartment building, when you buy a home I will refuse to come unless you have Direct TV...Marcus when you told me how much you were paying for cable, I am not sure why you haven't shot yourself in the foot and not switched over to the dish..YOU FOOL!!!

The '92 Cowboys, aside from having some of the best personnel to ever take the field together, benefited from both free agency AND no salary cap . . . another good argument to say that they should be amongst the greatest of all-time . . . I believe the '89 Niners, '90 Giants, and '91 Skins were the other "really good to all-time great teams" that can say the same thing . . .
